One of the oldest real estate brokerages in Alberta. We have a rich 100 + year history in real estate. Long before Century 21, there was a company founded late in the year 1910 by a local businessman and former Mayor, for the then Town of Red Deer, W.J. Botterill. By early 1911 the company grew to three and was called Latimer, Botterill, and Hill.
The partnership names changed, but the local ownership and commitment to service never waivered. In the mid-1940s’ Frank McKee joined the office. In the mid-1950’s Mel Cunningham became a partner. In 1962 when Charly Anderson purchased the shares of Mel Cunningham the company name was changed to Botterill McKee Anderson Ltd.
In 1976, a young growing franchise organization, that has proven to be a Real Estate phenomenon, CENTURY 21 emerged on the scene, and shortly thereafter (1978) Century 21 Botterill McKee Anderson.
Soon the iconic Gold Post Real Estate Sign was on lawns across Red Deer & Central Alberta.
